Judith Eckle-Kohler holds a Diploma in Computer Science (University of Stuttgart, Germany). In 1999, she obtained her Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics at the Institute for Natural Language Processing. During her Ph.D., she did a research stay in Stanford at the Center for the Study of Language and Information. After her Ph.D., she was working as a freelance consultant in international business development. From 2011 to 2017, she was working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Computer Science department of Technische Universität Darmstadt.
